ACCESS TO THE FORMER CLAREMONT LIBRARY & ARCHIVE MATERIALS

The former Claremont Library materials are now located at the University of Leeds Brotherton Library; some of the more popular items have been relocated at the Leeds City Central Library.

The YAHS's Archived Collections formerly at Claremont are now located at the University of Leeds Library's Special Collections (within the Brotherton Library).

The materials at the University are now accessible online.

A list (not an index) of YAHS archives now in the University Library's Special Collections can be searched online (which was not the case when it was in Claremont). See https://library.leeds.ac.uk/special-collections-Yorkshire-archaeological-and-historical-society

The YAHS library collection, which hasn't yet been fully accessioned, will be found on the Brotherton Library catalogue: https://library.leeds.ac.uk/find
